A Student’s Experience Working on Becoming Lindsey

My name is Ciara, I’m a junior at Golden West High school, and I was the assistant producer on the Becoming Lindsey project. I went into this experience very shy and a little nervous about what exactly my responsibilities would be, and if I’d be able to measure up to the skills it required. I was extremely quiet and confused on the first day of production but Wayne and Adam Beck we’re incredibly patience, not only with me but everyone else that was unsure. They allowed us, the students of Golden West, to work with the red camera and explained, in detail, exactly how to use it. Not only were Wayne and Adam helpful and generous, but I was also blown away by their technical skills. They were always on time and never unorganized, but they were also very flexible with what the director wanted to do. This was my first time witnessing how filming was done and I can honestly say that this experience definitely opened my eyes to what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I enjoyed working with Wayne and Adam Beck so much and I have to thank them for the opportunity and support they gave Golden West.
