On August 5, 2013, at the historic Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. The 3B Digital Studios staff was in attendance at a remarkable presentation hosted by Warner Bros, Red Studios and Film
Light’s Baselight Software featuring Warner Bros colorist Maxzine Gervais
The Saban Theater was turned into what is very likely the world’s largest DI Suite for a couple of hours. Gervais went to work at her editing bay while Ted Schilowitz playing the role of client sat behind her as she showed her talents with the .R3D files and her Baselight program. All edits and color grading was demonstrated on the large 50′ screen of the theater. It was amazing seeing Maxzine skills and the red footage coming to the amazing life known as Pacific Rim.
